Hello King Cobras

The king cobra genus Ophiophagus, formerly considered one species throughout it's vast range from India to the Philippines has just been split into four species and these are what they are with their distributions (no common names so far):

 

Ophiophagus hannah - northern and eastern India, the Andaman Islands, Indo-Burma and Indo-China, south to central Thailand

Ophiophagus kaalinga - Western Ghats of southwestern India

Ophiophagus bungarus - the Sunda Shelf area, including the Malay Peninsula, the Greater Sunda Islands and parts of the southern Philippines  

Ophiophagus salvatana - the island of Luzon in northern Philippines.
